TANDEM SKYDIVE!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my god cant believe I have actually gone and done it, iv booked a TANDEM SKYDIVE 13th Nov 2010 On the 9th Novemeber 2010 my dad Robert (Bob) Ward would have been 60 years old but as some of you know he very sadly passed away on 12th February 2008 after suffering from a disease called MESOTHELIOMA. I wanted to mark the occasion but wasnt quiet sure what to do, people would think me a bit mad if we had a party and the guest of honour not there so I thought "well I have recently set up the Breath of Life Fund so what better way to mark his 60th then to raise some money in his memory. D Day
13th November 2010Thought maybe I should try and eat something this morning as I dont normally so Lee made me some crumpets ate one but couldnt face the other was feeling slightly nauseous lol. Told Lee where my insurance was and off we set to the airfield. Arrived on time which is novel for us lol, registered then was given the opton of jumping from 150000ft which ment it would double the free fall time from 30sec to 1 min. Didnt really have to hang around much after that, there was 5 going up altogether we had our briefing and kitted up.
AND we're off................................................. OMG that was amazing such a rush, I would suggest that that should be something everyone does at least once in their life time, there was a man there who had'nt even flown in a plane and yet he was jumping out of one today another man hated flying and was scared of heights but he was absolutely buzzing by the time he landed, and strangley enough there was another lady called Maria jumping I very rarely meet anyone else called Maria.
I have been absolutely overwhelmed by the support and donations in such a short space of time thankyou to all who have donated and supported me and thankyou to my family for coming up and watching me love you all millions always +4ever

21st October 2010Well had confirmation today for skydive, thing is now its real, it was okay before cause I didnt have anything to say yep your doing it well now I have "ooo er misses" lol.
